I love these four: (1) elllo.org (contains listening lessons for all levels) (2) BritishCouncil.org (contains free lessons for all levels — it even have a section for kids — including grammar and vocabulary) (3) Slideshare.net (contains PDF and PPT materials on almost any topic) (4) roadtogrammar.com (contains several short grammar lessons for all levels) Using them for my students never grows stale because there are always interesting things to match their interests, goals, and needs. 🙂
I recommend you create a free account as a private teacher or student in www.cambridgeone.org and follow the instructions on the dashboard. They have video games, videos with interactive exercises and more. Every single Cambridge book for learners has extra videos, games, and quizzes there, they are all top of the line!

There are a lot of textbooks. Flying colors may be useful. There is a lot of content to read. Reading is essential. No matter if you do not know the meaning of all the words. The more you read , the more you internalize. And of course, the more reading alud the more you listen to yourself. The result is self-confidence.

I don’t fully understand what you mean by “get attached”. However, during school breaks a teacher might share a few learning tips and provide a few extra exercises aimed to boost fluency or any other area that the student needs to work on. I personally make myself available to learners at anytime providing that they’re willing to pull their weight.
