Can you prepare a B1 student for the TOEFL or IELTS in one month?

As an English teacher, one thing I've noticed is that when students have limited time to prepare for tests like IELTS or TOEFL while lacking sufficient proficiency, it becomes quite challenging for them to succeed and achieve a standard score. Many students at the B1 level struggle with the exam's demands, which require not only language skills but also test-taking strategies. What are your best tips for helping students with limited time prepare for the IELTS or TOEFL?

  • In such a short time you would need to have a lesson preferably every day for at least one hour with the student, to allow at least 30 hours of lessons which should be sufficient to pass the exam with a good grade. Having such an intense course and learning everyday can be tiring, but at the same time by using the language daily things are much more likely to stick in the student's mind and allow them to more easily recall that information during the exam time

  • It is possible once hard work and dedication is put into action Anything is possible to achieve with those two components

  • Well, we can't generalize ( as they say case by case ) but it could be possible if learners are determined to get around the 6.5-7 band. First, do a diagnostic test that will provide weaknesses and learners' strengths. After that try to stick these gaps in their writing reading, listening, and speaking. provide them with tasks that help them to move come these problems
