I love teaching and adjust my methods according to the student BUT. . .I would say my biggest challenge is the student who doesn't do anything outside the class, who doesn't even want to watch a series or video in English so is getting no input and expects everything to happen magically during the class. Students who work even a tiny bit outside of class and, better yet, come with questions, see much more powerful results.

  • Biggest struggle for me is always having the same upbeat attitude. Even though it seems to work best in terms of motivating others to learn. Sometimes you genuinely do not feel like talking to anyone, but the energy can be felt through your demeanor. Adjusting your "vibe" and breaking out of that temporary discouragement/laziness for someone else can be a challenge. However, it is always worth it at the end to say I gave the student my all despite of not feeling my 100% that day.

  • Not over explaining, have the student look it up. If they don’t do their assigned homework we do it in class… when they ask why they didn’t learn quickly I explain how the class time we could have had was taken up with their homework instead of lesson progression. English is not an osmosis process. It requires a little more each day.

  • My biggest challenge is am teaching you and there is no interest.

  • My biggest challenge as a teacher teaching or introducing a new language to an individual is lack of co-operation or interest from the student.

  • The biggest challenge for me is to persuade some students that if they want to become good English speakers, they should try more.😄

  • As a teacher for few years, I haven’t encountered much challenges because of how patient and nice I can be with my students, but I still do encounter challenges such as students not doing there assignments, for me it is a challenge because it won’t help them improve fast.

  • I ain't got a problem with students who do not open the book at home. Not even those who won't review in their minds. The biggest challenge is when you make them see the consequences of their lack of studying and they resist accepting it and they get irrational about it.
