Zoe Jackson

I am from the West Midlands in the UK. I have previously trained as a Secondary school English Teacher as well as working as a Teaching Assistant where I have taught intervention classes to students who are learning English as an additional language. In my spare time, I like experimenting with cooking. I'm always up for trying new food! I also love to read books such as murder mysteries! I am also currently learning Greek from my Greek partner. I have taught English Literature and Language in Secondary schools to a wide range of learners who are 11-18 years old. This includes students with Special Educational Needs and students who are learning English as an additional language. In my lessons, I like to play games and use conversations as a way of learning and I encourage my students to get involved and use these methods to help them to continue to practise what they have learnt. Training as an English Literature and Language teacher means that I have gained the skills needed to help you understand grammar and vocabulary in the English language.
