Hi, there! My name is Troy, and I am very happy you are on my profile. I am from the USA, and I have a passion to teach my native language, English, to people from around the world. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds and learning more about them. I love the outdoors! Playing basketball, camping, and traveling are things I like to do in my spare time. I love talking about travel and incorporating it into lessons because the world is a big place and very interesting to learn about. I also speak Spanish and Portuguese, so I truly understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language. However, I also understand the most important techniques in learning new languages. I have been teaching online for more than 8 years, and I am TEFL and TESOL certified. I have taught adults, children, and teens. I have a lot of experience teaching students of all ages and English levels, and I have taught thousands of classes that have helped me improve my teaching techniques. Learning a new language can be difficult, so I really think it is important to make the classes fun and exciting! It is always easier to learn if it is something that you really enjoy doing! I do focus on grammar and pronunciation, too, because if other people cannot understand you clearly, you will not be able to communicate effectively. So what are you waiting for?
