Hello! My Name is Brian from East Rand, South Africa, I am a 27 years old, and a Certified Accounting Technician with ACCA and I also a TEFL 120 hours certificate with Teacher Record, I like reading books and articles, sports and traveling with my wife and two beautiful girls. Enough about myself I hope to get to know you too, soon enough, Cheers!.
I have over 2 years of experience tutoring English as a Second language to students online and face to face. Having taught students of all age groups pronunciation, grammar, literature and more. The approach that always works best for my leaners is the Student-centered approach because i strongly believe that learns excel more when they feel recognized by their teacher.
My lessons include setting
Clear Objectives: A well-structured lesson begins with clear, measurable learning objectives that guide the content and activities. These objectives help students understand what they should achieve by the end of the lesson.
Engagement: Good lessons actively engage students. This might involve using questions, discussions, or activities that invite student participation.
Variety of Activities: To accommodate different learning styles, a lesson may incorporate diverse activities like lectures, group work, hands-on exercises, and multimedia content. This variation helps maintain student interest and deepens understanding.
My teaching style is lecture-Based and the teacher is the primary source of information, providing detailed explanations on a subject. This style is efficient for delivering large amounts of content, but it requires strategies to keep students engaged.
