My name is Anisha, or Annie for short. I am 22 years and live in sunny South Africa. I am currently completing my degree in accounting, and I am also a TEFL-certified ESL teacher. I am somewhat an introvert as a person. I enjoy reading, listening to music, cooking and baking. Morning walks on the beach are my favorite(it helps that I live 10 minutes away from the beach, lol). I began tutoring English to students younger than me while I was in school. I began my ESL teaching journey when I finished high school, so I have over 4 years of ESL teaching experience. I am a TEFL-certified ESL teacher. I have worked with some major My lessons are personalized to each students' capabilities, needs, and goals. Each student is given undivided attention and corrected timeously in my class. I believe in enjoying what you are learning so our lessons will include some of your interests and what you enjoy. I am patient - I don't scream or scold. I understand that learning a new language is difficult for anyone, so I try to make my lessons fun and interactive. Expect to speak a lot in class and express yourself freely. I include a lot of supplementary materials like pictures, videos, articles, stories, etc. to keep classes fun and not overly stressful. I provide feedback on every lesson and tips on what to improve and practice more. Repetition is good for learning and is one of my techniques too.
