My name is Sofia. I am a Chinese and English teacher for whom teaching is not just a job, but also a true passion. In addition to teaching, I love to immerse myself in the cultures of different countries, study Chinese calligraphy, and share interesting facts about the language and traditions with my students. In my free time, I participate in language competitions, read books on Eastern philosophy, and look for new ways to make learning as interesting and effective as possible. My goal is not only to teach you the language, but also to make you fall in love with the process! As a certified specialist, I help students learn Chinese from scratch, prepare for HSK (levels 1-3) and improve their English skills. I studied at the Confucius Institute, where I gained a deep knowledge of the culture and language, and also participated and won numerous competitions organized by the institute. I studied online at Tianjin Foreign Studies University and Shanghai University of Economics and Finance. I combine traditional teaching methods with modern approaches to make lessons interesting, effective and focused on your goals. My teaching style combines structure, individual approach and creativity. In the lessons I create a comfortable atmosphere where students can easily immerse themselves in the language and not be afraid to make mistakes. I use interactive methods: role-playing games, audio and video materials, studying hieroglyphs by associations and discussing real-life situations. The lessons are practice-oriented, so we talk a lot, practice pronunciation and analyze real dialogues. I adapt each lesson to the level and goals of the student: from preparing for the HSK exams to learning everyday communication or professional vocabulary. My approach is not only about learning the language, but also about inspiration, motivation and love for the process!
