I’m from New York City, born and raised. I am in my mid thirties, love cooking, spending time with my family and reading for fun. I have taught in community based organizations throughout New York City and Syracuse, NY. I have worked with students K-12, GED, ESL, Post Secondary, & Adult Learners. I have tutored students in classrooms, after school settings, at community organization My lessons are customized to highlight the strengths of the student in the subject area that the student is working on building knowledge in, while focusing on reinforcing struggle areas. For instance, if a student struggles in math but counts really fast in their head, using that counting skill as a strength in building algebra computing study skills.
