I’m a 45-year-old British man who partly grew up in Thailand. I’m married with two children, and I love people, languages, music, nature, and learning about other countries and cultures. I’ve been teaching English for about 20 years, I have a Level 5 TESOL Certificate (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), and I’ve lived in Thailand for a total of 14 years - but I now live in Britain. I’ve taught all ages (young children to older adults) and all levels (beginner to advanced), and people from all around the world - Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa. I teach whatever you need, whether it’s conversation practice, grammar lessons, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, accents, IELTS… or a combination. I adapt to your needs and personality, but I am very friendly, patient and encouraging, and I am happy to give detailed feedback if you want it. I am good at noticing what I can help you with, and finding interesting and helpful ways to do it.
