I am from Durban, a beautiful coastal city in South Africa. I am an adventurous, patient, understanding person who loves reading, socialising and learning new things. I enjoy learning different cultures and meeting new people. I have numerous years of experience in the corporate world, two years Online teaching, and private tutoring. I believe that English is the common language of the world. My lessons are tailored according to the individual needs of the student. Getting to know them, finding out what that need is and then tailoring the lessons according to what works for them and what makes them comfortable. With lessons incorporated with fun, making mistakes and at the same time be comfortable in a safe learning environment will without a doubt allow you to advance your English proficiency. I have been a teacher at our local community Centre since 2018. I teach children of all ages and adults. I also tutor privately. I have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management I have two 120 hour TEFL certificate and a 120 hour TESOL certificate. I had obtained a position at English First in Hangzhou, China however due to the pandemic I was and unable to resume duties. I thereafter taught online at Cambly, EF and Reply. I have experience in teaching hyper classes that is advanced teaching with the use of simulations. I am an IELTS accessory as well. My lessons will be incorporated with fun and my focus will be on the individual needs of the students as well as the core areas of the English language instruction including reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. Teaching styles used with be the the facilitator style and lessons will be incorporated with Communicative Language teaching method, as well as TPR teaching method ( Total Physical Response ).
