Why is this community only teachers asking questions to promote themselves?
This is a community where students should feel comfortable asking us teachers questions, not teachers posting for likes and views. This is not the essence of this platform as far as I understand.

Sometimes students also ask questions here. All the members of the platform can communicate or ask something. Is it bad?
This platform is for both teachers and students to find answers or ask them. Getting likes is good for teachers as the platform clearly states that you will be more noticed, you will be more trusted and you will have bookings, in my humble opinion , it laso serves to build good relationships with other tutors.
I totally agree Nick. There are so many teacher posts that you can't find questions from students and answer them.

First, teachers are learners also. We learn from each other, like we asked questions like what the best teaching style, etc. Second, sometimes, students (especially those who are very begginner) have difficylty on formulating questions, and sometimes the questions posted here could be or might be same question as what the student/learners would like to ask.
Hello Nick! Actually this is the only way to get promoted. And moreover, the questions which teachers put here are not only for them. I'm sure they ask these questions deliberately so as many students can be benefited by reading them.
A question teachers should Ask as often as possible .why don't you be close to your students?
Thank you for this question. I’m all for community engagement and I think it’s very important for teachers to promote themselves as it can also be beneficial to students. You might find that the best person you can work with has answered a question on here. It also helps to create a sense of belonging!
I thought it was only me who finds it annoying. :D It's strange, isn't it? Especially questions like "difference between present simple/continuous?" from a teacher... like, why?! :D I do understand questions about materials, textbooks, resources etc.
