All depends on which area of language you would like to improve! If your goal is to start speaking, I would suggest one on one native speaker. On the other hand, when it comes to exam preparation, vocabulary, or grammar practice, you could benefit from group lessons as you can learn from others, as well as, their mistakes.

  • There are a number of factors which determine which is more effective. I always determine the students level of proficiency in the language they are wanting to improve on. This will help with the decision on whether one-to-one is better than group sessions, and vice versa. Another factor is the characteristic of the student. Are they more introvert or extrovert? Do they thrive more around other students, or by themselves? Do they prefer to work teams or by themselves etc. whether classes are one-to-one, or group sessions should be determined based on each individual student.

  • It depends, but I recommend 1-1 lessons because you have a lot of chances to tell the tutor what you need help with.

  • It depends.. some students like one-to-ina classes, and others find group classes more effective.

  • In my opinion, one-on-one is the better solution. In that way, a teacher is focused on your specific needs.

  • I think it depends on the student and their purpose of learning English. It's different from person to person.

  • I think the one-to-one would be more effective because you get a better understanding of where each person weakness and strength lies when tutoring and you help them to improve in the areas of languages that they choose.

  • sorry still getting use to this app i would say one on one as it reduces distractions and makes it much easier to focus

  • if you are an i would say one on one as it reduces distractions and makes it much easier to focus

  • Well, it depends on the students, but for me and from what I have noticed, one to one classes is more effective especially if you are an adult, but if you are a young learner/ kid group classes will help you learn faster
