"Other" is an adjective that refers to something different or additional. It is used to compare or contrast one thing with another thing. For example, "I have one book, but I need to find other books to complete my research." "Another" is a determiner which means "one more" or "an additional one". For example, "I have one book, but I need another book to complete my collection. Ultimately, "another" refers to a singular thing while "other" allows the referral of more than one thing.

Another and other include the same root words “other” which indicate something different. So other simply means something different from the original. While another adds “an” to the root word “other” which indicates to add one of something additionally to the original. Eg. “I have other family members” or “I would like another sibling soon”

The first thing to do when teaching conditionals would be to explain what conditionals are, then provide them with examples, then play a game where they need to identify the conditional, and finally have them create their own to see if they understood it
