I prefer a communicative approach, but so much depends on the preference of the student.

Communicative language teaching is perhaps the most popular approach among the methods of teaching ESL today. CLT emphasizes the students' ability to communicate in real-life contexts, and students learn to make requests, accept offers, explain things, and express their feelings and preferences.

I prefer the communicative approach or methods, if you would like to call it like that. For me using that method or approach is much easier, if I can say that, because it pairs well with the TPR that we as tutors use, and I think this method was designed around the concept of TPR and TTT(teacher talking time).
I prefer an interactive/experiential method using music, television shows or movies, books, occupation,...whatever the learner's interests are.
Fun but most importantly COMMUNICATION.
I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all teaching method that works for everyone. Each student has their own learning style and preferences, so effective teaching requires a flexible and adaptable approach
Hello I always say as teacher I feel like a tailor. I don't sew any suit, but English lessons. The bottom line is my lessons are strongly custom-made. My students are the pilots and I am thei plain. Cutting to the chase I use ppt, many videos and listening activities. Best Regards
The best method is the one that meets your student's needs. The one that you create based on different methods and approaches.
Practicing is the best :) also watching youtube videos/series/movies with subtitles and learning flash chard words
