-Never walk under a ladder. -Don't sweep at night. -Don't play with fire. -Never cut your finger/toe nails in the house.
There are lots of superstitious beliefs here in the Philippines. Each region has its own beliefs. One belief that stuck in my mind up to this day is when you see a person dying or died in your dream you have to bite a leaf once you wake up so that it won't happen in real life. Out of habit, I would still bite a leaf when this happens.

In the Philippines, they say when you go home after the funeral, you should go to another place before going home so that the person who died or other spirits will not follow you to your home.

hello. In the Philippines, if a girl is pregnant, she must not step on the ladder or else the baby will get cord coil inside. Another is, all children must be inside the house before 6pm so not to be taken by "Aswang" ( a carnivorous witch in English)
Don't walk under a ladder in the UK as it will bring you bad luck!
