What pronunciation is best for you as a student , British or American?

Main aim of learning English is to communicate. Exposure to different pronunciations is best. However try to be an expert in an area which is relevant to your context.

Both are okay :) But since I am in UK, I would prefer British English.

For me both are best. Because while at school, college and university we read books written in British, and now the technology, laptops etc teach us to write in American.....But I love English. In whatever shape it is.hahaha

That answer probably depends on your linguistic relationship with the pronunciation of the letter "R" in your native language. In some alphabets "R" doesn't even exist. As an example, Japanese speakers omit the letter, as they do not curve their tongues like in Spanish or Italian for instance.
British
You should understand both, but I reckon, you should choose one of them to speak. You should not speak partly in British, partly in American.
It really depends on your preference and interest.
