Transactional writing is a type of writing which focuses on achieving a particular purpose or goal with the use of persuasion and information exchange. The information are structured clearly, concisely and with great clarity. Examples are advertisement, application forms, business letters, emails, reports and memos.
Writing for travel , health articles , self-improvement are good examples of transactional writing. Imparting information to the reader that ,when applied , will improve their lives.
Transactional writings can be divided into two. The two being long transactional which comprises of essays, obituary written, letters etc Then short transactional writing are diary entries, recipes (ingredients), directions etc
