A common challenge for an ESL teacher can vary from finding a worthy company to work with, to finding a steady Job that isn’t a scam.
To the best of my knowledge, the most common (and constant) challenge for ESL teachers is managing the diverse learning styles of their students, as each individual possesses a unique character. On a more personal note, I occasionally struggle to maintain a flowing conversation with some of my new students in Free Conversation courses particularly when the lesson duration is too short. Certain students tend to respond with one-word answers, making it difficult for me to select suitable topics that spark their interest or elicit meaningful contributions despite my efforts to ask open-ended questions and facilitate a broader conversation.
