Th verb "to bring" implies moving something to a place where the speaker is present. For example : "Can you bring a cup of tea for me?| The verb "to take" implies moving something away from speaker's location. For example : "Please take your bag to the study room.
Well they both imply moving something from one place to another. To bring: movement towards the speaker or location. Example: Can you bring the book to me? To take: movement away from the speaker or location. Example: Please take the book to your friend.
