As a tutor, I believe that one of the biggest challenges students face in learning English is building confidence in speaking. Many students, feel shy about making mistakes, so tutors are to work together with them on fun conversation activities to boost their confidence. For those preparing for exams,focusing on targeted grammar and listening skills makes a huge difference. I have met students who find vocabulary tricky, using interactive games will make learning new words enjoyable and memorable for them. Each student’s journey is unique, and lessons should be customised to fit their needs and goals.
Challenges students face is catching up on new words, and understanding it, and remembering how to use those words in a conversation. Another challenge is they are nervous about making mistakes while talking.
It takes a lot of time to learn any language. Vocabulary is an important part when we learn language. Because when we need to explain something in English, it requires knowing plenty of worlds. (To explain everything clear and understandable)

Dear Nombuso, the main challenge for me was living in a non English speaking country. So I needed to try hard and find partners to practice normal conversation with. However, watching movies helped me a lot in my journey to learn the language!
