To be a teacher of young children, one must be like one of them. One needs to be a child as well. Have fun teaching, be silly, be kind, be funny and you will have them in the palm of your hand.
Hi I try to create such a relaxing climate during the lesson. No stress is a must . You don't need to tell your students off when they miss. I go very slow especially with starters Best Regards

When treaching anybody, you need to comunicate at their level. It is important to build rapport with the student. You need to quickly find common ground to bond over.
Smile all the time, welcome your student and be patient with them.
Be kind towards them and try not to intimidate them
Give your student the opportunity to choose what they want lessons on, then you can move to one of your choice

Keep them engage and entertain.

The first thing to do when teaching conditionals would be to explain what conditionals are, then provide them with examples, then play a game where they need to identify the conditional, and finally have them create their own to see if they understood it
