Hi Usman123, There is no past tense for put. Rather look at your sentence structure. Present - I put my phone on charge Past - I had put my phone on charge Future - I will put my phone on charge Hope this helps.
The past of put is put
In fact put doesn’t change it will stay put. For example; Yesterday, I put my cup in the dish washer.

In theory it does all the past tenses but the verb to put is the same in all three columns : put, put, put .....He put the books in the bag, He has put the books in the bag, He had put ....
Present tense-l put it on the table Past tense-Yesterday, l put it on the table (may need to add a time or day) Future tense-I will put it on the table If l ask-Where did you put it? Answer-l put it on the table. If you don't add time, then you will need to see from the context of the sentence that it is past tense.
Put doesn’t have a past tense You can consider using the word placed as a past tense Eg. I will put the chair in front becomes I placed the chair in front
in a sentence its: "Shehe took off her coat and put it on the chair"
We have put, putting and put as a verb form.
