I don't think so that grammar rule help you learn English language rather these rules confuse the students to learn it. one should focus on practicing English language. English is not a subject to be taught but a language to be practiced.
There are so many grammar rules, but I think the most important one is the use of prepositions!

The Rule of Context is the most important rule of grammer. Teach grammar in context you have to take an item out of context in order to draw attention to it, ensure that it is re-contextualized as soon as possible. Similarly, teach grammatical forms in association with their meanings.
