What are some difficulties that you face when learning English?

According to some of my students, understanding new words for the first time is quite difficult. Most of the times this is discouraging on their end leading to them being de motivated!

As a native speaker I don't have any difficulties but if I wasn't I'd say focusing, finding time, memorising and staying motivated.
