Hello I'm not a student so I am not going to answer! However if I was a student (which I am as I said before) not, my strategy would be searching for a great and understanding teacher who is patient and gets the results.
Reading is your best bet, but use the the theory of Meaning, Form and pronunciation, it works every time.
If you make yourself talk, you can talk better and easily step by step. Don't focus on your mistakes because your teacher gives you feedback
