As a first time tutor the first important advice to a learner/student to improve is that they should not work hard but smart learning must be a thing that one's enjoys not stress about secondly try to do your things on time meaning always be organized to avoid work load and stress and always remember to ask for information to those who have better knowledge than you lastly always believe and push your self in that way a learner /student will definitely see same improvement in themselves.
First, I will advise you to use the proper word as advice is a noun. Secondly, after identifying your problems with the language, I'll suggest you to do activities that will improve your language.
