Snap means "Shoot" or "Dang," and is used as an exclamation of dismay and shock. It is often said out loud but may also be used in text or online. Snap is often seen with "Oh" as in "Oh Snap!"
In my region of England (Yorkshire) snap also means food.
Everyday uses are "to snap at someone" as in be angry at someone. Another use is to "snap under pressure". And a third would be as an exclamation of surprise when two things are the same. I think it's used as a slang term to comment when someone gets back at somebody else.
