Immersive learning is better in most cases, because it helps with gaining the confidence to speak the language in public.
I believe both are very important to learning another language. Structured online learning allows you to learn at your own pace, work on the fundamentals of the language, and build confidence while practicing for real-world situations. Real-world language practice helps you to improve conversational skills and fluency by having to interact and recall what you have learned in real-time, even if you stumble through conversations at first. In this way, you will also build confidence and essential language skills.
Both structured online learning and immersive, real-world language practice have their benefits, and the effectiveness of each can vary based on individual learning styles, goals, and circumstances. Structured Online Learning: - Flexibility: Allows learners to study at their own pace and fit learning into their schedules. - Resources: Often provides access to a wealth of materials, including videos, quizzes, and interactive exercises. - Progress Tracking: Learners can track their progress and receive structured feedback through assessments. - Foundational Knowledge: Helps in building grammar, vocabulary, and language rules in a systematic way. Immersive, Real-World Practice: - Practical Application: Offers the opportunity to practice language skills in real-life situations, enhancing conversational abilities and cultural understanding. - Improved Fluency: Engaging with native speakers can improve fluency and pronunciation more effectively than structured lessons.

Combining both approaches often yields the best results—online learning for structure, immersion for practical use.
I believe both have their pros and cons. Online in comparison to real-world; one of the pros I would say is flexibility with regards to time and availability, also language learning is mainly communicative based which does not outweigh or lessen in quality to the latter. A con would be the obvious limitations when it comes to exploring more teaching methods.
Yes, definitely with no doubt. Reason being you can learn in the comfort of your home and anytime you are free!!!!
