Patience and empathy. It’s important to always remember that your student is coming to class with their personal struggles and issues. On top of that, they’re having to learn a completely new language.

Patience, preserverance and determination. You have to understand that you are a position of teaching someone a skill and it will take time for them to get there.
In my opinion a good tutor is one who is a strong communicator as well as a good listener , is empathetic and patient and has lifelong love for learning.
He has got a good education and always refers to the student's level and needs. Individual approach is the most important.
Patience, friendliness and experience
Tutors are very different, I am sure you agree, their teaching scales different, approaches differ, they teach different subjects, levels, ages, origins and some are just conversationalists, but in answer to you question, of the student gives you a five star rating then no matter what others determine, you student is learning from you and that makes for good qualities as a teacher.
