I enjoy using nursery rhymes in my lessons. Do they help students with pronunciation?

I use simple songs to check their listening and speaking ability, l am wondering if they are other tutors who do the same.

Yeah of course,I use songs from Baby bus,Super Simple songs,PInk Fong,kids really like them.

  • It is definitely useful ,but you shouldn't overuse that because it decreases students production.

  • For very basic learners it is okay. For children it is ideal. Parents use nursery rhymes to teach and entertain their children.

  • Hi Nettie, I use them, usually at the beginning of a lesson, the last one was on idioms, for an older student, but it also helps them remember and pronounce correctly, great job.
