I enjoy using nursery rhymes in my lessons. Do they help students with pronunciation?
I use simple songs to check their listening and speaking ability, l am wondering if they are other tutors who do the same.

Yeah of course,I use songs from Baby bus,Super Simple songs,PInk Fong, kids really like them.
It is definitely useful ,but you shouldn't overuse that because it decreases students production.

Yes, Nettie. Nursery rhymes and songs help a lot at the lesson with small kids; especially when kids can move or dance while reciting or singing.

Songs and nursery rhymes are good for pronounciation and speaking in general.A definite exercise for Young learners.
For very basic learners it is okay. For children it is ideal. Parents use nursery rhymes to teach and entertain their children.
Hi Nettie, I use them, usually at the beginning of a lesson, the last one was on idioms, for an older student, but it also helps them remember and pronounce correctly, great job.
Yes most definitely, rhymes are best for learning especially in the foundation phase
