It was totally strange and unfamiliar, especially in group classes .I think one of the most important factors that helped me succeed was engaging the students by increasing interactivity and implementing new online teaching methods.
My first online lesson was in 2015 with a 4 year old Ukrainian girl. To have a lesson with such a small child online I had to invent creative things like closing a camera with my hand on my computer to learn a phrase from a dialogue about electricity problems and the darkness in a room. It was really funny! It worked, I managed to teach that little girl. :)
For my surprise, I was confidentand felt reassured by running my lesson very well.

My first experience with online language teaching was really positive. In the first few moments, it felt strange and completely unknown, but it turned out to be a perfect experience because the communication was amazing.
All i can say is every lesson is a challenge. And we learn a new thing with each lesson.
exciting and stressful at the same time, but being prepared and learning what your student needs could help you give a productive lesson, as long as your student feels comfortable and relaxed.
It was somehow strange and stressful, you need to do all things in a different way, that's exactly the turning point! I dressed nice and fresh, I prepared myself beforehand and I did it well. new things are strange but also exciting and adventurous!
