  • When you encounter stagnation, treat it as a challenge to overcome, like a game to be defeated. Find joy in hardship and properly assess where you're lacking, whether it's vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, or speaking skills. There are tests available online to check your improvement. Where you're lacking, do more to improve it. Double your effort. If it's vocabulary, memorize each newly word by heart and use it in your daily conversation. If it's pronunciation, listen more to native speakers and immerse yourself in the language even more. Change your study techniques and try every possible way to improve your skills. The secret is to never look at stagnation as the end of your learning but rather as a step toward improvement. Don't stop!

  • I would break my routine, review my reasons to learn a language. Build and focus on my discipline. Speak to your teacher/tutor let them know of your difficulties and seek solutions.

  • I would often take one of those placements/language level tests. They are often good at identifying your weaknesses - especially grammatically. Another way of elevating your level is to watch niche topic with specific vocabulary - something that interests you of course, you can always learn new vocabulary and expressions. Last but not least is to engage with tutors and teachers and to converse with them, with the goal of acertaining some difficulties you might have or improvements you could make.
