  • I think you need to be sure for step forward in this decision, you should love to teach and feel that passion inside, But my advisement is that think in silence for various minutes in this decision because is to serious.

  • Hi Terri-lee I think your first way forward would be to update your profile. Add your skills, interest, qualifications as well as a video introduction of yourself, your experience in teaching, your qualifications etc. Once you have updated all that info, answers questions on the community chat so that you become more visible to potential students. Also maybe start a blog in your profile as this will increase your chances of getting students. When becoming a tutor you will need to have patience with your students as well because they will ofcourse not be native to the English language and that is where you come in to help them learn, speak and communicate in the English language.   • To become a tutor, you must be very patient as your students will not be fluent in the language that you will be teaching. A tutor will also be highly understanding of cultural differences as students could be from a range of backgrounds. ☺

  • First you should be passionate about teaching. Be able to transfer English language skills, then have a teaching certificate.

  • To become a tutor you have to have a TEFL certificate and be a native English speaker.

  • You need a degree ( some places don’t require it) and a Tefl certificate . If you apply to companies they tell you what the requirements are
