Hi there! I recommend the site ELLLO (ENGLISH LISTENING LESSON LIBRARY ONLINE. This website is a treasure trove of free listening lessons for all levels including beginners. Each Lesson features audio or video recordings, transcripts, vocab support and interactive quizzes. As for podcasts I recommend Coffee Break English : https://coffeebreaklanguages.com/english/ This is a series of podcasts that cover a wide range of English Language topics from grammar and vocabulary to pronunciation and listening comprehension. There are many other cool and unique sites that can be explored for a beginner level student. BBC learn English is always good
If he or she is a small child, we can use rhymes, songs and number games. If the student is older, I use videos and I slow down the talking so they can grasp what is being spoken. I will ask the student if he/she has understood the story, if so, can they give me a brief story to sum it up.

I recommend YouTube videos. I normally use Basic English Conversation. It helps them with pronunciation, reading and comprehension. Check it out.

It simply compares the harmony of the flowers to that of the stars... meaning same harmonous path the stars portray above (in the sky), it's same with the flowers below.
