Grammar Translation Method or Direct Method, which one do you favor? Justify your answer.

Both methods achieve different goals. The Direct Method focuses more on developing your speaking capabilities and for learners to get an intuitive sense of the language. The Grammar Translation Method focuses more on the literary aspect. It helps learners understand the structure of the language for analyzing literature and form. It does not help learners easily develop their speaking capabilities and can be tedious so I personally favor the Direct Method

In my opinion, the best approach to teaching a second language is one that is balanced and fixable, and that takes into account the needs, goals and characteristics of the learners. This may involve a combination of different methods and approaches, and may involve adapting the approach to meet the needs of different learners. Ultimately the most important factor is the effectiveness of the approach in helping learners to achieve their goals and to communicate effectively in the target language
I believe that both are equally important as students understand grammar and vocabulary in their Native Language first and foremost. These concepts work hand in hand for me

Definitely direct Method, students need to learn English easily, with our difficulty, they should avoid memorizing Grammar rules.
The Direct method it's easy and straight forward.
i favor the Direct Method as students are able to progress at their own pace.
For me i would use the direct method because it gives to the students a comfortable learning in which they can listen, speak, read and write naturally.
I Favour Grammar Translation Method, because as a teaching method it makes the grammatical rules easier, the learning process is faster, and increases the students' capability to answer correctly in both oral and written exams.
