1) Let's have a butcher's = Let's have a look at (something). This is a uniquely British idiom and comes from cockney rhyming slang. 2) To be between the devil and the deep blue sea = To be in a VERY difficult situation where all the options you have are bad ones. 3) It'll knock the backside off a concrete elephant = Something that is very strong, potent or powerful. Again, a uniquely British idiom.
