Friendliness and patience is of utmost importance because you want to establish a comfortable and peaceful environment for learning and teaching.

Back when I was learning French, I really appreciated it when the lecturer pointed out the good parts of my work. Just pointing out the bad parts can be disheartening. So, talking about the good parts of someone's work is something I try to include in my classes. A good word or two can go very far in making student  feel comfortable and confident. 

I believe that the mist important quality of a good teacher is patience. You need to be patient with your students because they are trying to learn something very new to them so as their teacher, you need to be patient with them so that they can feel comfortable and supported.

Methodology is the first and foremost quality of a good teacher, so a good teacher should have attractive methodology.
