There are a many things to consider when planning warm-up activity example ,age level, interesting/appealing, also related to the lesson, What else should be kept in mind when planning warm up activity?. Please share your thoughts.

Yeah of course, If you will add some short stories.and some hidden behind games then they'll enjoy.
Learning English is not a game it is a beautiful dynamic language. Any English word is English. I have never understood warm up activities.

Warm-up activities are so many & hence fit as per the time & circumstances. At times games can be effective; so at other times informal conversation can be. One or the other warm-up activity but must go on to keep our learners engaged.
- I believe the class size should be given a thought as well. Some warm up activities may demand that students work in pairs or in groups and you as a teacher should take that into consideration. You’d also know how many copies to get in the case of an activity which involves printing out some worksheets. - Then again, the mode of delivery of your lessons; A warm up activity carried out online may have slight differences to that done in the physical classroom.
There are a variety of strategy in dealing with these situation, but I think first and foremost me as teacher must ask first the student if he/she is comfortable with me for me to adjust myself to make sure that learning will take place
1. Something random as well - using creativity and imagination - asking questions stimulates mind and creates positive experience at the beginning of a lesson.
It is important to recognize the real needs of each student.
Planning a lesson: 'What else should be noted" 1) Is lesson a ONE on ONE 2) 2 or more students in a class. 3) Has Student any difficulties 4) Foreign language of student 5) Mixed class of males and females 6) Student goals On receipt of all relevant student information lesson planning would be easy to address
