Will- when you use ‘will’ the action you’d be taking is firm and confirmed without any hesitation. Would- is used when you have a slight hesitation in the action or situation. Both the above words belong to the future tense, and both words could be used to describe an even which would happen in the future. Will- I will go to school on Tuesday. Would- I would pick up the kids if I can be there on time
