Microsoft Teams helps me a lot in teaching during lockdown with its wonderful features for both teachers and students. It has many options where teachers can schedule their meetings and upload assignments. Moreover, the whiteboard option makes it more feel like on site learning.

I would definitely vote for zoom and then Skype. Their multiple features help you to get advantage of many things while having a class. And the most important thing is that they are very user friendly .
As a college student, Before when we can't go to school because of the lockdown and we are just using digital for learning. I prefer using the "classroom" application is the best choice not just because it's free to download but because you can also check all the activities that you are missing.
For me, it depends on the situation. For something like conversation, Skype or Zoom are good. If you're looking for a digital "classroom", I like Big Blue Button. It's free, has whiteboards, and a bunch of other tools for the digital classroom.

Repeat the words a lot and give a context to it, plus the picture of it. Find synonyms, make the student create sentences using the new vocab and finally of they write down a story using these new words, they won't probably forget about them easily :)
