There are quite a few which are funny and a bit bewildering too. my favourites are: "She who must be obeyed" = your wife. "They've got me by the short and curlies" = having no option but to do as you have been told, or suffer the consequences. "to be a sandwich short of a picnic" = to be stupid
there is this word " Wagwan" , that i heard in a superhero show. both the word and the situation when it was said were hillarious!! and i still don't know its concrete meaning.
