Anytime is an adverb that can replace or be replaced with "whenever" or "at any time" Please call me anytime. They won't arrive anytime soon. Any time is a noun phrase that is usually used after the preposition at or by itself. Please call at any time. Any time you choose for the appointment is fine.

It’s better to spell it “anytime.
You are not wrong because, the both words are used in English. "Any time" is a noun whereas "anytime" is an adverb.
