Prof Heather

I have a PhD in linguistics, and speak near-native Portuguese. I've visited only 18 countries, but have taught students from 92 countries, so far. I'm a college Professor of English to Speakers of Other Languages in Washington State, USA. I have been an examiner of IELTS, TOEFL and International Baccalaureate. I also make learning fun! I have a TESOL certificate from the University of California, San Diego. I have a B.A. in Writing, M.A. in linguistics, and PhD from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil. Falo Portugues! Students will improve fluency and remove barriers to learning, whether it's insecurity, shyness, or just not having a broad vocabulary.
