Greetings! I'm Martin, I'm 21 years old, and I live in Nis, Serbia. I like to explore and to learn new things. Can't really say I'm a party person though. My favorite drink is chocolate milk, no doubt!
I sometimes get an aspiration for writing, It can be a story or a song, but sometimes it can be like a script for a play. I often find myself enjoying a cup of coffee, taking a walk, usually when it's colder weather, which I admit, it is odd. Solving sudoku, listening to music, appreciating art overall.
I was mostly helping some of my friends with translation in middle school. Explaining them some terms and so on.
I do not have any certificate or experience or work experience as a teacher,
What can you expect, hmm...
Well, I do not like to do things half heartedly, so I won't just focus on teaching them how to write and speak in English, I'll also focus on helping them understand English language. Depending on the capacity of student, I'll adapt a different strategy.
Maybe as a motivation, I would ask a student to watch a certain media, as a "homework" , so we can discuss a little about it, at the start of next class.
Or maybe, learn their language a bit, and help them how to pronounce some words by giving examples in their language.
Overall, my goal would be to make them feel comfortable, and less nervous when facing something like this. Personally I think the most important thing when learning a new language is being able to understand each other. So the accent or grammar mistakes, are something students should not be afraid or ashamed of.
And depending on how many students I have, I'll keep like a little track of a progress.
