My name is One. Phonetically.. Oh-knee. I am a highly qualified certified educator with 3 years of experience. I am dedicated to professional development to enhance my art of teaching. Currently I am enrolled in a weekly theocratic school in which I prepare teaching assignments which I present publicly and them am given an evaluate critique on areas for improvement in my teaching techniques and methodologies.
I love traveling, visiting and spending time with my friends, trying and eating new and different foods and singing.
I'd love to get to know you and help you in your language learning journey to achieve your linguistic goals.
I work as a teacher and life coach .I have been doing this offline for 3 years now. I have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Master TESOL Certification. I also work as a remote language translator, translating from English to Kalanga. Teaching English is something I love, I want you as my student to enjoy learning English. I'm so passionate about teaching students that I not only teach professionally but I even spend 600 hours a year volunteer teaching with a non-profit organization to help educate individuals in my community.
It is my belief that exceptional teachers are able to adapt their teaching for a purpose. Hence my goal is to let my student's abilities and needs drive how I teach and what teaching methodologies I use to guide them. Among other things, I practice use of effective questions, motivating students and giving students ample talk time while guiding them to effectively participate.
I can also relate to my students language learning journey because I am fluent in 3 languages and understand the challenges and difficulties of language learning.
