Hi! I'm Nsovo, but you can call me Fortunate. I'm a certified English language teacher with experience in teaching both beginners and intermediate levels. With 1 year and a few months of teaching experience and a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, I have the skills and knowledge to help you succeed.
Aside from teaching, I have a passion for community service, and I enjoy reading, cooking, and listening to music. Specifically, I love Lofi, R&B, and Hip-Hop. So, if you have any music recommendations, feel free to share them with me!
If you're shy or lack confidence in speaking English, don't worry. I'm patient and understanding, and I'm here to guide you through our lessons in a fun and enjoyable way. Let's work and learn together to improve your conversation, comprehension, reading, and grammar skills.
As a certified TEFL English language teacher, I have taught both beginner and intermediate levels. In one instance, I helped a student who had just moved to an English-speaking country and was struggling to communicate with others.
Through our lessons
To make our classes fun and exciting, we will use a variety of materials such as PowerPoints, maps, pictures, videos, and audio aids like songs and rhymes. I also like to incorporate memory games to test your retention of the lesson and motivate you to learn.
I, as an English language teacher, use different teaching styles to help my students learn effectively.
My teaching includes Communicative Language Teaching, where communication and interaction are prioritized for language learning. Task-Based Language Teaching is also used to promote language use through authentic activities. I also use Total Physical Response, which employs physical gestures to aid vocabulary and grammar retention.
I incorporate technology, such as online games and quizzes, to make lessons engaging. Ultimately, my student-centered approach is tailored to cater to the unique needs and goals of each student.
