Hello everyone! My name is Nana, and I have been teaching Cambridge English, Science, and Global Perspectives for the past five years.
Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students, each with unique backgrounds and learning styles. My passion for education stems from my belief that every student has the potential to succeed. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. By tailoring my teaching methods to meet individual needs, I aim to inspire a love for learning that lasts beyond the classroom.
Outside of teaching, I love traveling and exploring new places; this not only enriches my life but also allows me to share real-world experiences with my students.
My experience combined with my enthusiasm makes me a perfect candidate for this role. I look forward to the opportunity to help students improve their English skills while fostering a positive learning environment.
ESL teacher in China (2019-2024) - Grade 2 - 11
120 hours TEFL certificate (2019)
IELTS speaking tutor (2019-2021)
In my lessons, students can expect a dynamic and interactive learning experience. I focus on developing essential language skills such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each lesson is designed to be engaging and relevant, often incorporating multimedia resources like videos and songs to enhance understanding.
I emphasize practical communication skills so that students can use English confidently in everyday situations. This includes role-playing exercises, group discussions, and real-life scenarios that encourage active participation. My primary focus areas include vocabulary development, grammar proficiency, pronunciation improvement, and comprehension skills.
Additionally, I encourage critical thinking by integrating topics that interest my students into our lessons. This approach not only makes learning enjoyable but also helps students relate their studies to their personal lives.
Overall, my goal is to create a positive learning atmosphere.
