Hello 👋 My name is Nicole. I am a certified TEFL English Tutor, accent coach and a former English assistant teacher with over 3 years experience teaching English to both adults and kids who are at beginner, intermediate or advanced level. I'm close to completing my bachelor's degree of Teaching majoring in English and then I will pursue my teaching career in China, Japan and other countries. I have an interest in meeting new people and that's why I love teaching online because I get to meet different people everyday, which is why I prefer being creating a frienship with my students. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I have taught at a high school as an Assistant English Teacher for a year and I've also taught on Italki for 2+ years as an online English Tutor. Throughout my teaching experience I have learnt that I should be a supportive,friendly and empathetic teacher and ALWAYS put the needs of my students first. My teaching approach is highly individualized and flexible to accommodate different learning styles and goals. I stay current with the best practices methodologies in the field and draw from modalities that are largely content based. I hope my student with pronunciation, grammar, articulation, conversation and speech. I also take time to help my students with preparing for their exams, IELTS,tests or assignments. When it comes to my formal students I help them with Business English, interview preparation, presentation preparation and CV writing. Since I have a passion for travelling I also help people who need to know English for travelling abroad for a new job, university or just leisure like a vacation.
