Melodie Langevin

I am French-Canadian and passionate about languages since I was very young. I am currently a student in linguistics and language science at TELUQ University. Before turning to language teaching, I worked for over five years in the immigration sector. My main role was the preparation of immigration files. I then decided to redirect my career towards teaching French to offer more direct support to immigrants settling in Quebec, by being in direct contact with them. As a language learner myself, including Spanish, I understand the challenges that can be encountered when learning a new language. Thanks to my own experiences and difficulties, I was able to develop learning methods that I now apply to my students to effectively help them in their learning. I believe that a successful language course is personalized to the student. Depending on your goals, which we will determine during the first session, I will adapt the pace and nature of the lessons. Do you only want to learn the basics to be able to express yourself in French, do you want to deepen the subtleties of grammar or are you preparing for the future obtaining of a test such as the TEF?
